The Power of Hello Campaign - Media Toolkit

We’re inviting city residents, workers, business and organisations to get involved with a citywide ‘Power of Hello’ Campaign to promote positive mental health and wellbeing – counting down to Southampton Mental Health Friendly Day in 2026.

We’re officially launching the Power of Hello on December 20 – but you can start using the campaign assets from now onwards.

It focusses on celebrating good mental health, encouraging social connectedness and promoting the simple yet powerful act of saying ‘hello’ to each other and how important that is.

It will culminate on Southampton Mental Health Friendly Day on July 8, 2026, with social gatherings in all corners of the city, at a grassroots level.

Being involved with the Power of Hello and Southampton Mental Health Friendly Day is open to all regardless of whether you are one of our members.
