Mayfield Nurseries: Social Media and Photography Volunteer Wanted
Mayfield Garden centre prides itself on being supportive and welcoming place for all, with a varied and thriving café and retail shop attached. This role is to visit twice a month to take photos of stock and menu items for use on our social media channels and to promote the garden centre.
Main Responsibilities:
- Visit regularly (twice a month) to take photos of the new stock from the garden centre.
- Work with the café team and Centre Manager to take photos of our menu items and specials, as working closely with Solent Mind’s communications and marketing team to ensure alignment with the wider organisation photography style and objectives.
- Provide basic edits to the raw imagery and share photos with staff for use on our social media channels.
- Take creative photos of displays, plants and the site to showcase it in the best possible light and attract new customers
- Where possible, attend events run at Mayfield to take photos capturing the activities and environment. Working with the communication and Mayfield teams to ensure appropriate signage is displayed to agree photo consent.
